Well, Pinaki, a very flattering and dignified picture of me, I think. I would have liked to have a somewhat fuller illuminations of my face, however I understand that, being a black dog, I’m rather hard to photograph. I would like a print of this photo, if possible, so I could show it to my wadi dog pals.
    Yours respectfully,
    Pepper

    Dear Pepper,

I particularly like your Harley-black coat, but it is a bit of a pain when shooting out at the Gallery on the Hill. Don’t tell Franci that I lost the measure for your dry biscuits so ended up feeding you double your daily intake (2 full portions of the plastic glass near the sink, the one with the coloured stripes, plus a bit of canned food). And try not to eat too much of the tortoise food while they’re lying comatose.

As promised, I’ll bring along a bottle of doggie shampoo next time. And the print, of course. There’s nothing quite like a bit of soggy photo-paper to chew on.

    Be good

Oh, Pepper, you are lovely! I’m sure “The other Fryberger” and beautiful Franci are giving you n amazing home. It sounds like they trust you to somebody’s able hands from time to time, too… Lucky you! Too bad he doesn’t know tortoises don’t lie comatose but hibernate ;-)
Pinks, I see Pepper and “The other Fryberger”. Where is Franci?
By the way: What a delightful photo of Pepper’s gorgeous black face!
